Complementary Land Uses

Opportunities to Explore Our Lands

Deeply connected to the communities where we operate, we believe that one way people come to appreciate the value of a forest is through exploring all it has to offer. Most of our forests are available for uses such as fishing, hunting, or recreation. Some of our forests offer ideal locations for beekeepers to house their hives.

Recreation & Hunting

Connect with the Land

Many of our forestlands are a favorite retreat for campers, hunters, and other outdoor enthusiasts. We offer recreational use permits and exclusive campsite leases in the Pacific Northwest. In our Southern forests, our hunting and recreation program offers exclusive hunting and recreation access to individuals as well as hunt clubs through the sale of license agreements.

The hunting and recreational sites previously associated with Rayonier and PotlatchDeltic are now part of Rayonier. These customer sites remain active and accessible at Rayonier Hunting, PotlatchDeltic Idaho, and PotlatchDeltic South.

Beekeeping

Supporting Pollinators and Beekeepers

Rayonier’s land provides an ideal habitat for bees and other pollinators. Hobbyists, small producers, and commercial beekeepers can place hives in locations rich with nectar, giving bees the resources they need to thrive. By licensing secure, accessible land for beekeeping, we help sustain local apiaries and support the broader health of our forests and surrounding communities.
